It all started when my husband and I were about to get married, and I got, well, cold feet. Not those kind of “cold feet,”but literally cold feet to the point that my
husband promised me that in his vows he’d always keep my feet warm and covered. After all, I was a New York City girl who had just moved to L.A. to be with my fiancé and to now live in 90 degree weather. But living with him meant the air conditioning was always on … and I was always cold!
It was our first apartment together, and night after night I would lay on the couch reading my wedding magazines. The further I pulled the blanket upto cover my neck and shoulders, the further my cold feet would continue to pop out from
the bottom of the blanket. “One day we should makeyou a blanket with a pocket to keep your feet warm, and openings so your hands can come out and hold your magazine,” he says. And that’s how The Nuddle was born, and how we began ourstart to create theperfect blanket – one that I could use to nap or cuddle on the couch, with the freedom to still do what I loved to do most, watch t.v. and read a magazine at the same time, all while keeping myself (and my feet!) warm and cozy.
A wedding, a dog and one amazing baby later, we’ve created that perfect blanket, The Nuddle. Here’s to you napping, cuddling, reading, writing, snacking, chatting or doing whatever you like to do – and staying cozy!!
